You cannot say that Boggarts Breakfast do not get invited to some unusual events and locations to dance our socks off, shake our rags at and generally raise the roof. Last week, we danced at the 22nd International Conference on Molecular Beam Epitaxy. that was held in Sheffield. During the daytime sessions of the conference, those attending heard about innovations in semiconductors, quantum materials as well as spintronics but in the evening, in the majestic Sheffield Cutlers Hall, they watched the Boggarts Breakfast team alongside our friends in Sheffield City Morris side dance and play. There was opportunities for the dancers and the conference attendees to mingle afterwards, with multiple photo ops and many questions being asked about the origins of the teams and how dances and music were mixed to create the spectacle that is Morris Dancing. It was exhilarating to be able to introduce Morris Dancing to such a varied international audience. When is the next one then………
